"Suspition"
Do you think Shay has a right to be jealous of Tally? Why or Why not?
Yes,because she had been wanting to come to the smoke and be with David for who knows how long, and then Tally comes up and steals all of it from her.

"Heartthrob"
Why would it have been easier for Tally to activate the pendant when she got to the smoke? Explain.
She wouldn't have known about how many people relied and had built their lives there.

"David"
If David's parents were doctors, why do you think they ran away? Support your answer with textual evidence.
They didn't like giving the operation-"No,they didn't use surgery."

blog post #11
The modern raft is an inflatable boat, consisting of very durable, multi-layered rubberized or vinyl fabrics with several independent air chambers. The length varies between 3.5 m (11 ft) and 6 m (20 ft), the width between 1.8 m (6 ft) and 2.5 m (8 ft). The exception to this size rule is usually the packraft, which is designed as a portable single-person raft and may be as small as 1.5 metres (4.9 ft) long and weigh as little as 4 pounds (1.8 kg).
Rafts come in a few different forms. In Europe, the most common is the symmetrical raft steered with a paddle at the stern. Other types are the asymmetrical, rudder-controlled raft and the symmetrical raft with central helm (oars). Rafts are usually propelled with ordinary paddles and typically hold 4 to 12 persons. In Russia, rafts are often hand made and are often a catamaran style with two inflatable tubes attached to a frame. Pairs of paddlers navigate on these rafts. Catamaran style rafts have become popular in the western United States as well, but are typically rowed instead of paddled.

"New Pretty Town"
find and quote ONE oxymoron from the chapter or ONE example of irony.(quote directly)
irony-"nothing had been beautiful since Peris was pretty."
Why do you think Tally chose to wear a mask to the party that was deemed "white tie"?
I think it was because that was the only thing she could find and it had to hide her face because she was an ugly.
Find information about the history of masks and post it. How does this relate to tally's decision?
"New Pretty Town"
1 paragrah-have you ever had a friend like Peris who abandoned your frienship after moving?Explain.
No,I have never been in a friendship where my friend has abandoned me.I haven't because none of my friends have really ever moved before.
describe the following:
interface ring- your own identidy
toothbrush pill-a pill that you eat so you don't have to brush your teeth

the uglies by grace caroline
beauty-a great personality, nice to everyone, smart, and confident about who they are.
If everyone was beautiful, no one could be different ,we would all be the same, there wouldn't be an "ugly".
beautiful ugly
My reasoning for picking some flowers for beautiful is because flowers have natural beauty, they aren't genetically altered or cosmetically improved they just are simply beautiful. Flowers also don't harm anyone or anything, that is why I like them the most
: ), they just are again "simple". another reason I think flowers are beautiful is because of all the colors , you can admire the bright colors in each flower. Finally the last one is because no flower is the same and even though they aren't the same they all are beautiful.
My reasoning for picking the tree is because this tree looks old, breakable, and lifeless.
lifeless-something beautiful to me has to be full of life ,happy looking, you know.
breakable- something breakable is something that is no fun in my book because if play with it no doubt it will break, and you probably couldn't even play with it.
old- when trees get old they wilt and break and just look sad, who wants to see a sad tree? or for that matter anything sad?
