Write a one paragraph summary of the chapter.

Tally just pulled the fire alarm, to get a bungiejacket to jump off the roof. So she wouldn't get caught by the pretties. she jumps and bounces all the way to the saftey of the gardens.there are wardens everywhere looking for the ugly who sounded the alarm.She runs through the bushes and at the river,there is a figure.The figure is an ugly,girl named Shay,soon enough they're friends.Tally tells her what happened and Shay admires it.Shay also has a hover board but,they thought not to use it.Tally says she knows a bridge "he's an old friend"and they go.

what have you learned about Shay in this chapter?Is she like Tally?Make a prediction about what will happen between Tally and Shay.

Shay is very risky and outgoing.

I think shay is very much so like Tally.

I predict they will become best friends.

characterizations-

Tally:still an ugly, sad because Peris is gone for three months,friendly,nice.

Peris:now a pretty, upset that Tally came over.

How do you feel about the friendship of Tally and Peris?Are they true best friends?Why or why not?

I don't think that thier friendship is very strong.I don't think they are true best friends either because when Peris saw Tally for the first time he didn't reconize her, second he didn't look her in the eyes.

Why do you think Tally chose to wear a mask to the party that was deemed "white tie"?
I think it was because that was the only thing she could find and it had to hide her face because she was an ugly.

Find information about the history of masks and post it. How does this relate to tally's decision?

Masks' have been worn to hide the identity or the front of the face.From that I think that Tally wore the mask obviously so people couldn't see that she was an ugly.

No,I have never been in a friendship where my friend has abandoned me.I haven't because none of my friends have really ever moved before.

How do you define beauty?

What would the world be like if everyone was "beautiful"?

beauty-a great personality,nice to everyone,smart, and confident about who they are.
If everyone was beautiful, no one could be different ,we would all be the same,there wouldn't be an "ugly".

post a picture of something you find beautiful,and something you find ugly and explain your resoning behind these choices in a paragraph.

My reasoning for picking some flowers for beautiful is because flowers have natural beauty, they aren't genetically altered or cosmetically improved they just are simply beautiful. Flowers also don't harm anyone or anything, that is why I like them the most
: ), they just are again "simple". another reason I think flowers are beautiful is because of all the colors , you can admire the bright colors in each flower. Finally the last one is because no flower is the same and even though they aren't the same they all are beautiful.

My reasoning for picking the tree is because this tree looks old,breakable,and lifeless.
lifeless-something beautiful to me has to be full of life ,happy looking, you know.
breakable- something breakable is something that is no fun in my book because if play with it no doubt it will break, and you probably couldn't even play with it.
old- when trees get old they wilt and break and just look sad, who wants to see a sad tree? or for that matter anything sad?
